  2. Brim:
    • Pick up and knit 120 sts around the edge of the crown.
    • K2, P2 for 1 inch.
    • BO off.
  3. Assembly:
  • Fold the brim up and sew to the crown.
  • Embroider an anchor or other nautical design on the front of the hat.

Pants

Size: 0-3 months

Materials:

  • Navy yarn: 2 skeins
  • Size US 8 needles

Instructions:

  1. Legs:
    • CO 70 sts in navy on size US 8 needles.
    • K2, P2 for 2 inches.
    • K2, P2 for 7 inches.
    • BO off.
  2. Crotch:
    • CO 50 sts in navy on size US 8 needles.
    • K2, P2 for 1 inch.
  3. Assembly:
    • Sew the inner leg seams of the legs.
    • Sew the crotch piece to the legs, matching the center of the crotch piece to the center of the legs.
    • Fold the top edge of the pants over 1 inch and hem.
    • Thread an elastic band through the waistband.
